Tradition and modernity
A universal language
Etiquette is a relationship . It lies in the words we choose, the gestures we use, the way we simplify what could otherwise be complicated.
It is a language that crosses cultures, times and contexts and always works, because it speaks of respect .
The elegance of authenticity
Being elegant doesn't mean wearing designer clothes, but feeling comfortable and being authentic.
This is what etiquette is for: to give us balance, to help us understand the meaning of certain customs, and to move with confidence even in the most complex contexts . It is not rigidity, it is moderation. And moderation, at work as in life, is immediately noticeable.
Style as behavior
It's not enough to know the rules: you have to know how to interpret them and, when necessary, even ignore them. If at a luncheon someone says "Enjoy your meal"—which , according to etiquette, shouldn't be said—you respond and smile.
You don't correct yourself, you don't point out: this is true etiquette .
By the way: it's also better to avoid "pleasure", "cheers" and "health"!
